Hitting practice

Today we opened a brand new ball, and to be honest, I was able to deal with it quickly, and the thing that I like the most is that I am easily able to put topspin on the ball, so I don’t need to bend myself down so much. I could’ve used more slices, but since it was just really I didn’t want to use something that I will use in the match. I was hitting a lot of cross-court, because it was easy for me to get power.

Good things

  1. I bent myself down and I tried to get spin on the ball.
  2. For my serve, I aimed up and it was very good.
  3. Today I was practicing by throwing my old racket on the grass like Serena Williams, and I tried throwing up and it was very good.
  4. I had a good 2nd serve and there was tons of topspin on the ball.
  5. I had a good backhand because I tried making my weight go front.

Things I have to change

  1. I did unforced errors that, I tried scrubbing the ball, but the ball was too front and it was the open stance.
  2. I hit the ball down that all the needed to do was just go down to up.
  3. I also have to more think about hitting the ball at the front because I still get late.
  4. My backhand volley racket drops after I hit so it gets drop volley easily.
  5. When I get tired my hip joint starts getting tired and doesn’t move so I need to jump a lot more.
